IMPORTANT February 16, 2019:
I am aware that some users are having issues with downloading these textures, whether purchased alone or in a pack, and downloading every time store items are downloaded, even though they are already in place on the computer. This is beyond my control. The textures are fine and work just fine. The issue is with the GameGuru downloading system. Hopefully it will be back to normal soon.

24 textures for use with GameGuru's terrain painter and other texturing tools. Includes various rock and crystal themed textures, great for fantasy scenes and many other uses. I cannot easily show every piece in use, so please pay close attention to the screenshots and videos and how the full set of textures can be used.
The set is broken down into 4 types of textures:
1. Closed Veins.
Six textures. These are rocky surfaces with visible lines where the crystals are growing underneath.
2. Crystal Veins.
Four textures. These are rocky surfaces with the crystals exposed.
3. No Veins.
Eight textures. These are solid rocky surfaces with no crystals or veins visible.
4. Solid Crystal.
Six textures. These are the least attractive textures at first glance, but they serve an important purpose, allowing you to draw your own veins in various colors. Of course, you can paint however you wish with them.
This set only includes Diffuse and Normal textures with the Specular information contained in the Alpha channel of the _D textures.
Diffuse textures are 2048x2048 png files.
Normal Maps are 2048x2048 in dds format. This set relies on the Normal maps for the best looks.
You can change the texture sizes and formats if you wish to do so and have the right software for the task. Several of the included normal maps may also work well with other textures for various uses.
Note: Some textures are very similar to others at first glance. This is to allow smoother transitions in some situations. No two textures are identical. There will be sizing differences, minor color variations, vein pattern changes, and Normal map differences. Look closely at the screenshots to see the differences from image to image. The best way to figure it all out is to test them!
The textures are numbered but are by no means required or even meant to be used in that order. You can move the textures around to find the best combination for your level design, and you are equally free to mix and match these with textures from other sources. By default, you will not always get a perfect blend between one texture and the next. You must be familiar with how the terrain painting system works in order to get the most out of this set. As always, take your time with it, experiment, and find out which pieces work best with your models and lighting.
All GameGuru screenshots are shown exactly as they were taken in-game with no added effects afterwards, only using GameGuru's built in graphic controls to get the desired look.
Created with Substance Painter and Photoshop.
