The base classic character AI is pretty bad and has a lot of bugs and such. Well, that's no longer the case. This greatly increases their immersion and makes them more creaturelike. It also makes them much more aggressive. These are re-written to be more stable, flexible, and better all around.

This collection makes updates to the following AI files:

What these scripts do:
-Adds a headshot sound effect
-Changes how they react to damage (They no longer ALWAYS show a hurt animation, now it is a percent based on damage)
-Added Randomized "Initiative" Speeds (Makes them all act at different rates and randomly they will roar/charge
-Fixed Melee Range (Fixed the attack range and damage range not working properly as sometimes the enemy would get to the player and the player could simply take 1 step back and be safe, this is now fixed)
-Dante now properly plays footstep sound effects (if attached - see file for details) when walking, and when he runs they will get faster
-Added Melee Hit and Miss Sound Effects (Included - 5 hit sounds and 1 miss sound)
-Adds an "Alert" System to the characters and they will no longer get stuck on things, stop reacting when they lose track of the player, and they will properly be aware of the player presence
-Adds a "Push" when the Player is hit (The smaller enemies will push the player back slightly but the dante beast will throw the player several meters back)
-They will play sounds properly now and more often
-Fixes the issue where sometimes the AI would get stuck in a certain state and freeze
-Some fixes to their pathfinding
-Some other various improvements

-Replace the scripts in that folder with my versions
-Copy the classics chainsaw audiobank folder into audiobank/corrosion/ (This was just to keep things organized)

I solved the roar problem. I think there is a conflict between the roar animation and the damage animation. So I changed:

So should i put the original file "chainsaw-cutting.wav" to the "corrosion" folder?
Because the file "Corrosion's Enhanced Classics AI" does not have a file "chainsaw-cutting.wav".
In relation to freezing, it also happens with the "decayed", but it happens sometimes. I think when I shoot him in the head when he roars.
Maybe, the file to download is not updated. Could you check it please

Okay, I fixed the issue of the Grendel freezing - it had nothing to do with hitting him in the head by the way, it was that if he was "roaring" when he was hurt, it could cause a freeze up which the old version DID EVERY TIME so now that is 100% taken care of. The sound issue - that's from you not putting the file in the correct place though. Enjoy!

Error 3002 is a missing global sound file so you didn't put it in the right place like said in the error and the Grendel doesn't freeze when I shoot him in the head. I don't think you moved files properly to their correct places..

Those aren't bugs. Are you sure you're using them correctly? Please follow instructions exactly to ensure they work. Make sure you put the files where they need to be.

Today I bought this pack. It has some errors. For example:
I want to use the "chainsawbrute", but when the program starts, this appears:
Runtime Error: 3002: audiobank \ corrosion \ chainsaw \ chainsaw-cutting.wav ()
Another bug:
When a player shoots "grendel" in the head, he freezes.
Could you correct these bugs? please.
