Radiation Scripts.

Great set of scripts for your GG project.

t1971_rads_setup.lua
This script sets up all variables, loads in sprites.
Must be assigned to a physical entity NOT a static one.
Must be set to always on.
Must be set as immobile. 


t1971_text.lua
This script just displays the radiation saturation level, at top centre of the screen. 
Must be assigned to a physical entity NOT a static one.
Must be set to always on.
Must be set as immobile. 


t1971_rads.lua
Must be assigned to a physical entity NOT a static one.
Must be set to always on.
Must be set as immobile.
 
This script does all the work, calculates distance from radiation source and injures the player incrementally.  If saturation level hits 100% the players health will drop down rapidly.
If the player is out of range of any radiation source, the saturation level will drop down to zero slowly and the player health will regenerate back to 100.

Once the radiation level begins to increase the player will experience visual distortions. 
If the player moves out of range of  any radiation sources the visual distortion will fade slowly. 

The player will hear the radiation levels increase via the sound effects, as well as the level display on screen.

To make the game harder just don't add the t1971_text.lua to an entity, then the player will have to be even more wary of danger by just using the sounds to guide them.
Alternatively just rem out the line which displays the text. 

t1971_anti_rad_medi.lua
Must be assigned to a physical entity NOT a static one.
Must be set as immobile. 

Replenishes some health to the player and knocks off some of the saturation level.
Has to be picked up by the player by pressing 'E'

There is a simple map included to show how the scripts work.
